Awareness programmes on self Employment and life skill Education.

Handled training classes for self help group members on tailoring, bakery and doll making. Vimuktha group, Grama Vedial and self help group members have benefited from it. More than 10000 members got benefited from the training.

Visited more than 8 old age homes and conducted programmes related their livelihood and donated clothes, bed sheets, saris, mat, etc

Counselling was provided to needy old women at their door steps. More than 25 houses were visited and assisted them in solving their problems.

Through women helpline counselling more than 5000 rural women were counselled for their family problems like physical and sexual harassment, alcoholism, in-laws problems, domestic violence, etc. Nearly 600 women have benefited from counselling and now were living together with their family.

Awareness on various social issues and social evils for rural women were conducted in association with various colleges and NGOs.

Awareness campaign on female infanticide and feticide for rural women.

Through women helpline counselling more than 10000 urban women were counselled for the past 15 years for their family problems like physical and sexual harassment, alcoholism, in-laws problems, domestic violence, etc. Nearly 2000 women have benefited from counselling and were presently living together with their family.

Awareness programmes on child sexual abuse were organised in public. Awareness programmes on child labour were organised for slum dwellers. Awareness campaigns were organised on trafficking.

Won the case appealed (W.A.No.156/2000) up to supreme court for “Reserve sites to be used only for public purpose”. In relation to this order a park was developed in Sri Devi Nagar, Coimbatore.

Female infanticide

Conducted programmes on importance of girl child in association with DSW officer for school and college students in Coimbatore district.

A book and chart was published on female infanticide. The Coimbatore collector released the book.

Competitions were conducted for college girl students related to female infanticide and feticide and prizes were distributed.

Conducted various Medical camps like Polio, eye, breast cancer, etc in coordination with various hospitals.

Visited more than 50 schools both corporation and matriculation and provided counselling in nutrition, health and hygiene, use of social networking and media, etc. Distributed note book, school bags, pencil boxes for more than 1000 children.

Awareness campaign on solid waste management and natural manure preparation was conducted in various areas in Coimbatore.

Recreation programmes and games were conducted for women prisoners. Meditation was given for stress release. Rehabilitation measures like providing tailoring machines, iron boxes, wet grinders, etc.

Online TV Programmes

Conducted online TV programmes to created awareness and redressed women problems for more than 100 programmes.

Have conducted awareness campaigns on girl child Education.

Have conducted awareness campaigns on early marriage. More than 7 early child marriages were stopped by means of the efforts taken by me.
